Real advised Hemsö in the acquisition of the new police station in Rinkeby under construction from Familjebostäder. Hemsö’s part of the total investment of the project amounts to approximately MSEK 480. The new police station, which will contain approximately 240 new workplaces, is estimated to be completed during Q2 2020 and has been let to the Swedish Police Authority under a 15-year long lease agreement. The total investment of the project amounts to approximately MSEK 650.
Hemsö commenced operations in 2009 when Kungsleden’s public portfolio was consolidated in a separate company and is now considered as one of Sweden’s leading companies in properties for public use. The business is focused on owning, managing and developing properties for nursing homes, education, care facilities and premises for the legal sector. Hemsö owns properties in Sweden, Germany and Finland of a value of approximately BSEK 50.
