Real advised Hemsö Fastighets AB in a barter transaction with Fastighets AB Stenvalvet regarding in total twelve school properties, nursing homes and properties within the justice system. The total value of the transaction was approximately SEK 1 billion. The transaction was completed during Q1 2018.
Hemsö commenced operations in 2009 when the company acquired its first properties and is now considered as one of Sweden’s leading companies in properties for public use. The business is focused on owning, managing and developing properties for nursing homes, education, care facilities and premises for the legal sector. Hemsö has properties in Sweden, Germany and Finland.
The firm’s team consisted primarily of Partner Daniel Jönsson and Associates Carl Svensson and Fanny Davidsson.
