REAL Advokatbyrå advised Barings on the acquisition of a residential development project in Åkersberga, Stockholm County, where existing industrial buildings will be transformed into 262 residential units across nine buildings with a total area of 12,500 sqm.
The project is located less than 1 km from Åkersberga commuter train station, providing a direct 35-minute connection to central Stockholm.
The existing light industrial buildings will be demolished and replaced with modern residential units meeting EPC A level and Miljöbyggnad Silver standards. Construction is scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2025, with phased completion from mid-2027 to mid-2028.
