Real has advised Nrep on the acquisition of a housing project under construction in the Årsta district of Uppsala. Bonava will shortly begin construction of 231 Svanen-labeled rental apartments on the property, with the first apartments expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2026. The residents will be offered modern and sustainable apartments with proximity to services, schools and good commuting connections to central Uppsala. The five buildings are located directly adjacent to one of Uppsala’s largest park areas.
Nrep and Bonava have together optimized both material choices and solutions to reduce the project’s climate impact. Through this collaboration, the parties have managed to reduce the estimated carbon dioxide emissions during the construction phase by 20%.
