Through the transaction, Altura’s total portfolio will be increased to more than SEK 11 billion. The acquisition mainly includes properties with elderly homes and among the tenants are Vardaga, Attendo, Förenade Care, Silverlife and several municipalities. Closing will take place in February 2022.
The acquisition also initiates several sustainability initiatives, that will lower the properties’ climate footprint. Among other things, solar cells will be installed, and the indoor climate will be improved through modern and more energy-efficient systems. Each property will also be classified according to BREEAM-In-Use, the international environmental certification system for existing buildings.
