Real advised Altura with the acquisition of care homes in Täby and Upplands Väsby.

Real advised Altura with the acquisition of two care homes under development in Täby and Upplands Väsby from Sehlhall Fastigheter. The property in Upplands Väsby is developed with an elderly home with 40 apartments as well as a preschool for up to 100 children. The property in Täby is developed with a care home with 90 apartments. The transaction was completed during Q4 2020.

Altura, part of NREP, owns, manages and develops community service facilities with a primary focus on elderly homes in the Nordic region. The properties are adapted for both end users and care operators with the latest technology and sustainable materials in order to reduce the environmental impact without sacrificing comfort. Altura develops long-term and will be the obvious partner for both public and private care operators. Currently, about twenty elderly homes are being developed in Sweden and Denmark.

The firm’s team consisted primarily of Partners Mikael Laag and Tom Hofset and Associates Johan Asklund, Linnea Thörnvik and Simon Gille-Johnson.
